21st Century Program

The 21st Century Program is a federally funded program that Fourth Avenue has had the opportunity to be apart of. This program provides academic supports in the areas of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. We also provide enrichment opportunities for students that promote critical thinking, listening, memorization, visualization, and concentration.

Morning Program

Our morning program is on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:20 until 8:20 a.m.

The morning program offers the following activities:

  • Cooking
  • Homework Club
  • Orchestra
  • Sewing
  • Weight Training

After School Program

Our after school program is on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:50 until 4:50 p.m.

The after school program offers the following activities:

  • Art
  • Band
  • Cheer
  • Homework Club
  • Industrial Arts
  • Yearbook

Saturday School Classes

We also offer two Saturday school classes a month from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. to provide more support with assignments. These classes are all in-person. Please check the calendar to see which Saturdays we will be in session.

Registration

Registration will begin the week of August 14. If you have an interest in joining a club, please reach out to Mrs. Vargas to get registered. The program will begin on August 29. For a list of all the times and activities, please see the 21st Century calendar.
